Born in Baton Rouge and raised in New Orleans, Robert received his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in 1990 and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Louisiana State University in 2000. Between his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Robert worked in the financial services industry in Baton Rouge, St. Louis, Dallas and New Orleans.
In 2002, Robert began his career in the commercial real estate industry and joined Latter & Blum Commercial Real Estate in Baton Rouge, earning “Rookie of the Year” honors by the close of the year. He soon realized that his vast experience in the financial and securities sectors allowed him unique expertise at analyzing and maximizing various commercial real estate needs and investment strategies. In 2008, Robert combined his talents with SMU friend and fraternity brother, Geordy Waters, to form Waters & Pettit Commercial Real Estate.
Today, Robert serves on several local Boards of Trustees and is a Past President of the LSU MBA Alumni Association. He is currently a member of the Greater Baton
Rouge Association of Realtors and the Louisiana Chapter of Certified Commercial
Investment Members (CCIM). Robert and his wife Conway have four children, two
boys and two girls.
Geordy Waters, CCIM
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Geordy attended college at Southern Methodist University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance in 1992. Returning from Dallas to Baton Rouge in 1994, Geordy’s background in finance and accounting allowed for a seamless transition to commercial real estate.
In 1994, Geordy launched his real estate career through Waters Investments, owning, managing and building personal investment properties. Geordy’s successful management of his own properties quickly attracted a client base that recognized the value he provided in real estate sales and leasing, as well as property management services.
Geordy later moved to Latter & Blum Commercial Real Estate where his expertise across the broad spectrum of the industry allowed him to advise a wide range of clients. In 2008, Geordy and his long-time college friend, Robert Pettit joined forces to form Waters & Pettit Commercial Real Estate.
In 2003, Geordy became a Certified Commercial Investment Member—a group of nationally recognized experts skilled in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. He has served on several local boards of directors, is the Past President of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission Commercial Investment Division, and the past Chairman of the Louisiana Commercial Database (LACDB). Geordy is currently a member of Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors and the Louisiana Chapter of Certified Commercial Members (CCIM). He and his wife Kate have two daughters.
Drew Pearson, CCIM
Born and raised in Shreveport, Drew moved to Baton Rouge in 2004 to attend Louisiana State University. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2008, he began a career in commercial real estate by joining Latter & Blum Commercial Real Estate, where he gained vast knowledge and experience. In August of 2010, Drew joined forces with Waters & Pettit Commercial Real Estate.
Drew is hard working and dedicated, as evidenced by his Eagle Scout designation earned in 2001. In 2010, Drew earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, recognizing him as an expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry. His specializations are in corporate leasing and assisting with the acquisition of income producing properties.
Drew is a member of the Greater Baton Rouse Association of Realtors, Louisiana Commercial Investment Division, and Louisiana Certified Commercial Investment Member.
Benjamin Graham, CCIM
Obtaining his degree from Louisiana State University in 2000, Mr. Graham possesses an academic and technical background in financial and market analysis that complements his transactional expertise and provides valueable insights into current market trends and conditions. Ben’s background includes positions with Andersen Consulting, as a commercial real estate consultant, and at Latter & Blum where he earned “Rookie of the Year” honors in 2003 and was a multi-million dollar producer in every year with the firm. Specializing in Tenant representation, Ben brings experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to every transaction. Ben has represented local, national and international clients with requirements ranging from 2,000 square feet to 330,000 square feet. As the preferred tenant representative of Community Loans of America, Ben has negotiated and procured more than 250 sites across the country.
Ben’s diverse experience includes tenant representation, project leasing, investment sales and sale/leaseback transactions. This experience, combined with his finance and
valuation background, offers each client a comprehensive evaluation which assures that the best solution is developed and implemented. His extensive transactional experience representing clients in both dispositions and acquisitions in all property types has established a solid foundation of experienced leadership. Mr. Graham is a Past President of the Commercial and Industrial Division of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors, a past Chairman of the Louisiana Commercial Database (LACDB) and is the current President of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Baton Rouge Chapter as
well as a State Board Member of CCA. When he is not busy serving clients, Ben enjoys hunting, fishing and LSU football. Ben and his wife Tegan have one daughter.
